The 2009 Corvette coupe and convertable will probably get updates and fixes while most of the attention will fall to the new ZR1 coming in late summer.
It looks like the 2009 Corvette Z06 will remain basically unchanged. You'll find specifications and pictures on the 2008 Z06 here. I'm wondering if we will actual need the Z06 model by 2010! I guess is a matter of whether you've got 70K to 80K for a Z06 or 100k for a ZR1!
The new 630+hp ZR1 Supercar is part of the Corvette lineup for 2009. Chevy says its coming in late summer. Here's the link to our ZR1 page with videos and details.
The Corvette Race Team is again racing with themselves having scared the competition away in the American LeMans series. As the only 2 cars in GT1 bracket, the #3 & #4 factory C6.R's have been able to use the ALMS races as practice for the 24 hour race at Le Mans which is coming up in just a few weeks. I'm sure here will be some serious competition there.
